Research

At PRECIS we carry out advanced scientific research activities and of technological development, multi- and interdisciplinary, in the overall European priorities and at the level international, made at the intersection of the main fields of engineering sciences with the contribution of exact sciences.

Education

We work with highly talented people and attract talents through our teaching curriculum. PRECIS has the logistical capacity and related infrastructure to accommodate over 200 permanent researchers and teaching and administrative staff.

We offer highly skilled researchers and experts to assist you in carrying out research-development activities and frontier innovations that respond to real problems and needs of society at the national level and internationally, implementing the development strategies of the European Union.

The “Research Infrastructure for the Development of Intelligent Innovative Products, Processes and Services / PRECIS” Centre resulted from project with the same name, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, had as its main objective the expansion of the current infrastructure and research activities of the Politehnica University of Bucharest, the Faculty of Automation and Computers, to achieve the technological transfer and the development of innovative new generation products, processes and services mainly intended for industry and health. Also, the project aimed at approaching new priority research directions at the international and national level, with an impact on increasing the competitiveness of the Romanian economy, and the acquisition of equipment that facilitates the realization of these researches.
