He worked in the research field at Military Equipment and Technologies Research Agency (METRA) since 1998 to 2021. In 2021, he became lecturer at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science (FACCS) affiliated to “Politehnica” University of Bucharest (PUB). He is author and co-author of 1 book chapters, over 30 scientific publications and 1 system that went into equipping the Army. He was involved in 1 research grants as director, in 4 as scientific chief advisor and in 4 as member of the research team. His research interests cover a large area of topics from System Identification, Signal Processing, Applied Mathematics, Command & Control, Acoustics & Vibration, Water Treatment, Fractals & Complexity. He led 18 research projects. He has participated in over 40 research projects in both military and civilian domain.

Prof. Nae Ionescu

He worked in the research field at Military Equipment and Technologies Research Agency (METRA) since 1998 to 2021. He obtained a M.S. degree in Military Engineering (1996) from the Military Technical Academy of Bucharest. He also obtained a M.S. degree (2002) and a PhD degree (2011), both in Automatic Control, from “Politehnica” University of Bucharest. In 2021, he became lecturer at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science (FACCS) affiliated to “Politehnica” University of Bucharest (PUB). He received his Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences/Automatic Control with the thesis “Contributions to the diagnosis of biological system by electrographic methods”. He is author and co-author of 1 book chapters, over 30 scientific publications and 1 system that went into equipping the Army (IDPA-500 water treatment & decontamination system). He was involved in 1 research grants as director, in 4 as scientific chief advisor and in 4 as member of the research team. His research interests cover a large area of topics from System Identification, Signal Processing, Applied Mathematics, Command & Control, Acoustics & Vibration, Water Treatment, Fractals & Complexity. It has several specializations in the fields of security system design, programming languages (MATLAB, C++) and CAD/CAM (Autocad, Orcad, CATIA, SolidWorks). He led 18 research projects. He has participated in over 40 research projects in both military and civilian domain.
