Daniel-Cătălin Mitroi is a PhD student in Systems Engineering at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, where he is also a Teaching Assistant within the Department of Automation and Industrial Informatics. His doctoral research focuses on the development of intelligent energy management systems based on artificial intelligence techniques.
His research interests include renewable energy systems, forecasting and optimization methods, machine learning applications in energy systems, and DC microgrids. He is also involved in research activities within the HORIZON-CL5-2024-D2-01 NOVETROL project – “Novel current control for climate neutral energy infrastructure”.
