A traditional event organized by the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers, UPB is Linux Install Fest, now in its 16th edition. It is an event intended especially for 1st year students, but not only, for taking the first steps in the Linux world.

Come with your laptop and we’ll help you to install Linux.

We are happy that the largest AI research event in Romania is taking place this year at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest.
Join us at Romanian AI Days, in PRECIS Research Center, for two days (26-27 September 2024) of awesome keynotes from top scientists in academia and industry, presentations and talks with engineers from top companies working in AI / ML in Romania , learning from the 50+ posters from selected PhD, MSc and BSc students in Romania, or just talking to the other 300+ people working in AI joining our events.
Registration is almost free for students (100 lei, mostly to be sure that people that register actually attend), and we offer lots of learning in AI/ML, fun, food and drinks for two days.
