Dr. Habil. Alexandra Cernian is an associate professor at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers, National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest, where she teaches courses in artificial intelligence, blockchain, and business intelligence, blockchain. She has over 15 years of experience in research, education, and consultancy, with more than 750 training sessions delivered for national and international companies. Her work focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in organizations, with an emphasis on decision-making, governance, and the impact on business and society.

She is an expert evaluator and rapporteur for European research and innovation programs, including Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, EIT, and other European initiatives, contributing to the evaluation and funding of strategic projects in the field of emerging technologies. In the entrepreneurial environment, she is a co-founder of Recycllux, a deep-tech startup that uses artificial intelligence and satellite data to monitor and reduce plastic pollution, and an angel investor in the technology ecosystem. She is recognized as an opinion leader in the field of artificial intelligence in Romania, being frequently invited in the media (Euronews Romania, Digi24, Antena 1, etc.) to explain the impact of technology on society. She was included in the Top 100 Successful Women compiled by Capital magazine for her contributions in the fields of education, digitalization, and AI. Her scientific activity includes publications in international journals and participation in national and European research projects, with a focus on AI, blockchain, and intelligent systems.
