Giorgiana is a tech and education enthusiast with over 13 years of experience in organizing events in NGOs and in academia, who have helped over 100s students kickstart their careers in tech.

With her dedication to education and continuous learning, Giorgiana pursued a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers from the University Politehnica of Bucharest and continued with a master’s degree in the “Advanced Computer Architecture” program in the Computer Science Department. Her curiosity motivated her to explore the image processing domain for the Ph.D. program at the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest. Since 2018, Giorgiana has been a Teaching Assistant in the Computer Science department and works with students in the following courses: Software Project Management, Introduction to Operating Systems, Logical Design, and Computer Architecture.
The sense of belonging convinced her to contribute to the community being involved in the activities in the department and beyond.
Giorgiana is an initiator and showed over the years her leadership skills. She co-founded Codette in 2016, a tech community that supports women in tech, and was active in the organization for 4 years. In 2019 started working at StepFWD Pre-accelerator as a Program Manager. In 2024 started a new NGO, Bit&R Education, dedicated teaching kids the role of the tech in their lives.
Giorgiana received the Forbes Romania “30 Under 30” award in 2017.
