Data, Dynamical Systems, Control, Optimization, and Algorithms

The PR 506 Laboratory, part of the PRECIS research center, is a center of excellence dedicated to developing innovative solutions in automation engineering, data engineering, and machine learning. The lab focuses on:

  • Data Analysis and Processing
  • Modeling and Simulation of Dynamical Systems
  • Designing Efficient Algorithms for automatic control and optimization
  • Exploring Advanced Control Methods and optimization applied across industries.

The lab is equipped with high-performance computing infrastructure and specialized software, supporting interdisciplinary research projects such as:

  • Industrial Process Optimization
  • Applications in Robotics
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Cyber-physical Systems

The research team includes professors, researchers, and students driven by innovation, collaborating nationally and internationally with industry partners and academic institutions. The primary goal of the laboratory is to advance knowledge and technologies in data and dynamical systems, addressing complex challenges in automation, optimization, and algorithm development, thus contributing to scientific and technological progress.

  5. Formation control for robot/drone teams

  7. Solving the point location problem in explicit MPC implementations
  8. Robot Operating System 2 (ROS 2) development and integration
  9. Sparse representations and dictionary learning applied to classification algorithms and anomaly detection
  10. Time series analysis and anomaly detection in time series data
